Location is in the heart of Medina, quick to call a taxi and get anywhere in Essaouria. Or just simply walk 5 minutes to the local streets to explore what the city has to offer. Omar and his staff were exceptional. They went above and beyond in terms of service, attitude, friendliness. You will be treated with the utmost respect and care here at Riad Dar Awil. Not to mention the delicious food - literally a feast fit for royalty. Every dish was absolutely delicious. Room was clean and there is a cleaner to come tidy your room (even folded up some clothes I had lying around). Can't recommend enough. Thanks for the amazing experience here. Will definitely be back whenever in Essaouria

Redouane helped me when I lost my passport and contacted the local police department. His service was attentive but not overbearing. He and his kitchen assistant provided an amazing breakfast on the roof terrace speaking multiple languages to a variety of guests. I would definitely return

My stay at this Riad in Essaouira was absolutely incredible! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the most wonderful, friendly, and warm staff who made me feel completely at home. The cleanliness of the Riad was impeccable, and the delightful fragrance that filled the air added a special touch to the experience. The adorable cats roaming around were such a joy and made the atmosphere even more charming. The highlight, however, was the delicious Moroccan breakfast – it was 100% authentic and simply fantastic. The Hosts were an absolute delight ! Always happy to help with a smile. The place is gorgeous, the amount of effort put into decoration and all the little details everywhere is astonishing. Wonderful setting in a quiet area between Val d'Argan and Essaouira. The place is a quiet oasis run by the owner and his team in a relaxed but attentive way. Breakfast by the pool or dinner... every need is catered for... plus there is secure parking on site. If you want to see Essaouira it is about 20 mins away and there is also secure paring in front of the souk. Make sure you also visit the winery in Val d'Argan - a very special place!

We really enjoyed our stay at Libert’art, it is a beautiful place, very scenic and relaxing. The hosts Yves and Carolina are great! Friendly, welcoming and happy to help. The dog, donkey and tortoises were a highlight too! The shared areas are equipped with everything you might need for your stay. We would definitely come again!

I booked this property because of the colour and uniqueness of the hotel and it didn't disappoint absolutely beautiful rooms and spaces and breakfast on the terrace overlooking the ocean and Medina Wall's made my heart sing each morning. The location was perfect, close to everything and easy to find if you happen to get lost whilst walking around the old Medina, often my goal.

The property features a beautiful rooftop terrace and a stylish interior. The staff were exceptionally polite and always ready to help. We arrived earlier than the official check-in time, and they kindly prepared our room in advance. After check-out, they also allowed us to store our luggage until our bus departure. Overall, it was a perfect experience.
