It's a traditional bereber house. The host family is very kind. They help us with all the activities we wanted to do at the desert. (Explore the desert with a car and sleep in a desert camp). We tried in the stance the pizza bereber (it's completely vegetarian). While we do the activities in the desert the help us to keep our backpacks and let us have showers. Totally recommended.

We came to Merzouga for an overnight stay at a desert camp and added this stop for an extra night beforehand—which turned out to be perfect for a little rest in the middle of our road trip. There’s free parking, and we were able to park our car right in front of our room entrance, which was super convenient. The property is within walking distance of the dunes, and there’s a small supermarket about 4 minutes away by car. We really enjoyed lounging by the pool. The water was quite cold (we visited in late April), but with the heat outside, it was actually perfect for cooling off. We loved our room—it looked just like in the photos. It was very clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed, a mirror, and hangers for clothes. Even though it was hot outside, the room stayed pleasantly cool. We booked dinner for 130 DH (around 13€) per person), and both dinner and breakfast were really good. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind—we were even allowed to stay in the pool area after checkout, which we really appreciated. You could easily stay even 2 nights or more if you’re looking to unwind—this place is truly a gem.

The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff extremely helpful. Hassan arranged the camel ride according to our needs (we were traveling with 2-years old daughter). Even after our leave, he contacted us making sure we arrived to our next destination. I am sure we will come back and will stay there once again!

This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in ever. The design is beautiful, the location perfect and the owners are friendly and welcoming. We wish we could have stayed longer! The food was delicious, a fusion of Spanish and Moroccan- you are in for a real treat! We did the buggy tour through the riad as well- which is one of the best experiences we had in Morocco. Not to be missed!

Everything was perfect! Room was clean and comfy, dinner and breakfast were delicious and everybody were so kind and friendly. They also welcomed us the next day, after we came from sahara, for a cup of tea while we waited for our bus. I would definitely recommend!

Staying at Dar Marhaba was our biggest luck. The hosts are very friendly and the food is really delicious. We would highly recommend booking a camel tour with an overnight stay in a berber tent. The trips, done by a professional guide are really awesome. We could experience some traditional berber music in the desert camp and some traditional berber food.
