Staying with Zakia felt like staying with a local friend or family! She was the most kind and welcoming person. We didn’t speak the same language but that didn’t matter the slightest, we could always make ourselves understood with a little help of google. If you want to experience how locals really live in Morocco, this is the perfect opportunity. The creative traditional interior design by itself is an experience worth taking. We were also served wonderful breakfast and our additional requests were fulfilled without any extra charge.

This place is like a museum in positive meaning. Hundred of old, original artefacts from doors to window frames. You simply don't know where to look. Lots of craftsmen skills examples everywhere. If you are lucky enough to stay in the front room, the best view possible.

At gite El menzeh we spent a very comfortable night, welcomed by the owner and her brother despite a last-minute reservation. Dinner was prepared for us and also an excellent breakfast. The bed was the most comfortable during my 12-day stay around Morocco and the private bathroom was clean and with a comfortable and spacious shower. There is a parking lot 2/3 minutes away where we left the car for 10dirham per night (1€) and 5 minutes away you enter the heart of the village moulay Idriss. The owner is an attentive, helpful and friendly person.

Set in Meknès, 11 km from Volubilis, Domaine des Sloughis offers air-conditioned rooms and an outdoor swimming pool.

Excellent rural farm stay walking distance from Oualili, early mornings, late afternoons to avoid the sun and tourists. The food is excellent, expensive for Maroc but you couldn't eat for that price in the U.K. Khadija the hostess is very pleasant, friendly and helpful.

Riad Yamcha offers accommodation in Meknès. Certain rooms include a seating area where you can relax. A balcony or patio are featured in certain rooms.

great friendly staff, lovely courtyard, delicious meals, spacious room and bathroom, comfortable bed and comfortable public areas in the Riad. Only 5-6 rooms in total in the Riad, the service feels very personal and easy to meet other travellers in the public areas.

I like everything! Especially staff - so friendly and kind! Riad was the most beautiful that I ever seen in Morocco (I’ve been in Marrakech, Essaouira, Agadir, Casablanca, Rabat)! It was very nice and tidy. Location is also very good - everything at the place: Medina, Carrefour supermarket.

The staff was extremely kind and the place had an amazing rooftop with the view on a couple of mosques. Great breakfast, they even anticipated it for us because we had to take the train early.
