The room was very nice and spacious and it had plenty of fans and AC to cool down the room, which was very important for me as it was very hot in Mazunte when I stayed there. The balcony and the view to the ocean was also really nice. Having a small kitchen and a fridge/freezer was also a huge plus. The location of the property is in my opinion very nice, it is a ~10 minute walk to the main beach and ~5 minute walk to the center area of Mazunte which is nice as it can get quite loud in the center. Communication was also excellent, they were very responsive and helpful.

When I arrived there were no other guests, so they let me choose the room. I chose the only room with an attached bathroom. The AC was really nice and needed in the Mazunte heat. The bed was huge and comfy! The shower water never got hot but it's fine since it's so hot there. The host was always nearby to offer fresh towels or toilet paper.

I loved view from the room. I loved how imperfect it was. We really felt connected to nature. There were birds, scorpions and many more things like big caterpillars in our room. It changes your whole perception of what’s considered the “norm” vs how others might live. There are no blinds or windows to block the light in this room so you wake up at sunrise naturally and just just felt way better for it every day instead of being lazy.

We stayed in a private room, which Gustavo arranged for us to have an extra bed, making our stay more comfortable. The rooms are simple but it was all we needed. We loved being able to use the epic pool, it remained cool even in the heat of the day. There are numerous common areas to hang out around the property. Gustavo accommodated every question or request we had and was always available on WhatsApp. We got to our next destination efficiently thanks to his advice.
