We had a lovely stay at Heritage Villa by Aayu. The villa was centrally located which made it incredibly easy to explore the streets of George Town by foot and there are amazing food stalls at every turn. Our room was well appointed and had everything we required for a comfortable stay including a very effective air conditioner. The host was proactive and made check in a breeze, providing a suggested itinerary and a number of online maps. Everyone at the villa was so kind but one of the highlights was meeting Desmond who had so much knowledge about the area and was always keen to hear about our plans for the day provide suggestions to enhance them. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Faultless place to stay. Really helpful staff via WhatsApp and on site guest assistant. Self check in was welcome. Cannot fault the place. Would recommend. They have some deals with neighbouring cafes and restaurants to avail of discounts. A/C was very effective which was important given the heat.

I really enjoyed staying here, the place is very modern and comfortable. Small details like personal notes, free bread, tea and coffee made it feel like at home.

I had a wonderful stay in this hotel ! The room was clean, cozy, and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Location was perfect close to shops and restaurants. Highly recommended!

Huge spacious room, clean, nice kitchen area, wasn’t too loud despite being in a room facing the road. In a lovely area also, nearby to pretty much everything! Couldn’t recommend enough.

We enjoyed the entire week at Green Gates. The location was great and the building made us feel we were living during the colonial era Penang. The food in the area was great and the hotel is conveniently close to all the sites we wanted to visit in Georgetown. Ms Fazeela was an exceptional host and helped us with anything we needed. Looking forward to our next visit. The complimentary visit to the museum across the street is worth a visit as well.

The room wasn't big but very well furnished, we had everything we needed and the room was very clean. The decoration was nicely done. We arrived in the middle of the night due to flight delay but had a smooth self check in process. Stuff was nice. We couldn't ask for a better location.

Newly refurbished hotel with a modern design in a such a good central location. Really fast communication over a WhatsApp and really lovely staff that answered every question and help us with check out. Room itself is really clean and hot water and cold AC and comfy bed. What else do you need? Would definitely stay there again.
