Beautiful quiet private beach. Clear water, good for snorkeling. Salang is much quieter than the other villages on Tioman island, so you get a real island experience with the locals. There are shops with everything you may need and many restaurants with great, affordable food. There are a few scuba shops and schools that will take you out on scuba excursions to the coral reefs. Ella was a great host.

To begin with, the accommodation is very comfortable, with wonderful sea views and a great location between the two beaches of Juara. It’s true that the access can be a bit difficult, but it’s totally worth it for the stay. Above all, the best part for us was the owner, Wan. He was always attentive, helped us with everything he could and more, and he’s truly charming. Without a doubt, we’ll come back, and we’ll definitely book the same accommodation again.

It's expectional stay with great hosts and perfect location. Amazing food cooked by the host's mother and easiness of doing all kinds of activities made it one of the greatest stays in Malaysia. It's a perfect gateway from bustling cities. I would greatly recommend it for family with children and couples who value peace and beautiful views. We stayed there a couple of days and never got bored. We saw so many amazing underwater scenery and animals while snorkelling. Great value to price! Definitely would stay there again.

In a fantastic location, right by yhe sea, our chalet was very comfortable and well-equipped. We enjoyed our breakfasts at Swiss Cotage or Cabana overlooking the sea. There are multitude of activities you can do. The jungle trekking to 2 waterfalls that we did was highly adventurous and thrilling. And most importantly Wawa and other staff are very kind and welcoming and are making sure all your needs are met.

The space is the perfect escape: you get a squeaky clean beach hut with the best view and the perfect wave noise to bring you into peaceful slumber in the evening, only to wake up to have a delicious nasi lemak and a nice cup of coffee in the morning.
