Very modern, clean, well equipped kitchen, good location ( not far away from center but on quiet street); nice to receive the small bags with pastel de nata and coffee each morning, highly appreciated. Easy check in/ check out even you arrive at late hour. The host is very responsive. Thank you so much for everything. Definitely a rare gem in the heart of Faro!

Clean, fresh, quiet. Fast wifi, great amenities, and it looked exactly like the pictures. Communication with the owner was very pleasant. The air conditioner worked very well, despite the flat being relatively small and exposed to the sun.

In a quite street, lovely place with nice exterior, room fully equipped and decorated with taste. What is very important to me that was fabulous: the welcome, the responsiveness and how helpful all the staff is

Cozy, little apartment beautifuly decorated, with great location. Space is small but you will find there everything you need. Place is so confy, that you feel like at home 😊 and then you discover the terrace on the roof…oh my Got! (Stairs are narrrow, so its not suitable for larger people.) Perfect place to spend your siesta 😊 Cherry on the top is the tasty cake, fresh apples and coffee / tea in the hall. Location is great. Just few minutes walk to the old city and port, minimercato about 15 minutes by walk. We really enjoyed our stay, also with out 2YO baby. Would recommend to everyone.

Casa Algarbe had a great location in Faro, close to the city center and the beach. We had a great time, perfect place to stay with all the needed facilities in the kitchen and some nice outdoor areas (including a small patio only acessible from our room).

It is one of the most wonderful guest houses/hotels that I have been. Of course it's not a hotel with the services usually attached to it, but it's definitely not a hostel. It is in the best meaning, a guest house, without feeling it's an Airbnb. My room was amazing, everything new and with a lovely taste for furniture, painting and renovation of the house. I used to live in the city and I remember the building as almost abandoned. But it was done a wonderful job and inside it exceed all expectations. The bed is the crown of all of the things of this guest house. The cleanliness, thw white, the softness and above all the comfort of the bed. I have a personal very confortable bed and i am usually sensitive to different mattresses and pillows, but this bed.... Unbelievable! When i went to sleep and when i woke up i was amazed on how comfortable i felt in there. The staff is really professional, tried to be a cool stay and explain the rules and the system. Even though bathroom is indeed outside the room, but it's worth it. Very nice shower and once again, everything clean. It is really well located, whether arriving by bus or especially by train and a small walk to the beautiful city centre. Small noises from the street or from the main door (steel door) occur, but for me it's actually good. But in general, guests understand that it's a cozy and private place. Didn't use the kitchen or the terrace, but i was there to see and it is clean and shiny and well organized. Typically portuguese restaurant right around the corner, coffees nearby for fast and simple breakfast And all of this for an absurd price (don't know if I was in a special price or not, but it seemed cheap), considering prices and quality around. There are other guest houses in the city, but not so well located to transports and with a bit higher prices, I think with similar conditions (I don't believe they have better beds than this one).

The reception that evening was very welcoming, upon getting into the room I found kind of everything one might need. Also a balcony which made a difference
