Not in Faro but under €15 taxi (Uber/Bolt) journey from the airport. Quiet rural/suburban location - exceptional room with big balcony - perfect base to explore the beaches, caves and marshes of the Faro peninsula from. Daniel is a genuinely wonderful host - nothing is too much trouble for him - from restaurant recommendations and buying extra eggs for breakfast, to sharing lots of local information and just being great to chat to.

    The location inside the salt flats is amazing. When the tide goes up the accommodation is surrounded by water, with the rooms overlooking the water… The location is peaceful and quiet all day long, and only a 10min walk from the beach. We asked the host to allow us to drop our luggage earlier than check-in time so we could spend the day at the beach, and she allowed us to do the check-in as soon as we arrive.

    This is a beautiful family villa owned by the charming Frederic and his loverly Mum, Alice. We got a very warm welcome from both. The villa is clean and immaculate . Within a short walk are bars and restaurants in Fuseta. Fuseta itself is a quiet fishing village and is clearly being developed as the Algarve grows in popularity. Recommended for a family accommodation.
