I really enjoyed Dom José Alojamentos. We stayed for 3 nights and it was really clean, well located and the breakfast was pretty good. It was a great price for the money and I really enjoyed the town of Guimarães as well!

It was an absolutely unique experience staying at 1720. The winery history, superb renovation of the winery buildings and the contemporary touches - refreshing natural water pool, the container bar and wine storage area, room amenities. Arthur goes above and beyond to make each guests stay enjoyable and comfortable. There are several indoor and outdoor areas to relax and a highlight for us was having dinner prepared by Arthur and Palmira and served with paired local wines.

The room was spacious, very well equiped, with nice furniture. The building is old but very well renovated. The bathroom was modern and clean. It was a great value for money! Great location, too!

The place is perfectly kept. Communication with the host has always been smooth. Access via code is very handy and there's plenty of space to park the car nearby.
