I got there early, and not only did they let me check in early, I also got a room upgrade! The room was very nice, I had everything I needed and more, a little fridge and kettle in the room, tea and coffee and an option to have breakfast delivered. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend staying here!

Our room had a really nice view of lake bled and the castle. Everything was perfectly cleaned and the bathroom was really modern and freshly renovated! The family Mayer was incredibly kind to all the guests and it was very easy to communicate in German or English. The Pension is really well kept, has a beautiful garden, close and safe parking and is nicely decorated. But the best thing was by far the breakfast! A vast amount of options both sweet and savery. Fresh fruits, homemade Granola and smoothies, lost of baked goods and the best thing were the delicious homemade spreads. So tasty! Also awesome for vegetarians and vegans, especially compared to other slovenian menus. I normally tend to skip breakfast at home and it is my least favorite meal, but here I was already looking forward to it the evening before! We would definitely recommend Penzion Mayer to others and hope we'll be able to return some day!

Nejc is a great host. He even got welcome cake at arrival. He provided us with useful information about the area (activities, restaurants), gave us a map and was happy to answer all our questions later. The accommodation enjoys an excellent location in Bled, easily accessible by car, close to the centre, Bled Castle, the pay beach.
