The guesthouse is run by a genuinely nice family, that took care of us. The room was big, clean, everything worked perfectly. There’s a safe box in the room. Free bottles of water everyday. Room cleaned and towels changed everyday if needed. Very good value for money on this island. The possibility to rent a motorbike directly with the guesthouse makes things smooth. You’ll need one to roam around the island. The nice Surin beach (5 minutes away by scooter) and Bangtao beache (a little more depending on which part you want to reach, the Northern part is a natural reserve, quiet) are not far. The area is not touristy (except for the lads and ladies that are in Bangtao for Muay Thai training) and has plenty of local cheap restaurants to offer on the main road. The call to prayer from the village’s mosque described in the comments here didn’t disturb our sleep. The rooms are away from the noisy and very busy main road. Would come again anytime.

The location and bungalow are perfect and Charly and his wife are the nicest people. We stayed for 9 nights and would’ve loved to extend if we didn’t have to go home. Would 100% recommend. It’s walking distance from Nai Yang Beach. Nai Yang is all you could wish for if you’re looking for a laidback and beautiful beach with great restaurants (all literally on the beach sand) and amazing sunsets, either for a full holiday, or like we did, to have a relaxed last week of our month traveling through Thailand. The beach has many tourists, but for family holidays, by far not as crazy as the south of Phuket and everyone behaves themselves. And that 10min away from the airport. Best choice we could’ve made! :)

Stayed here last night and ate at the restaurant in the evening, joined by my son and his girlfriend who are staying elsewhere. The food was absolutely delicious! Between us, a pizza, spaghetti with meatball and a spaghetti with garlic and chillies. We couldn't see garlic bread on the menu and I think the chef did it especially for us. A piece each, and wow! Not the UK, 5 minutes in the oven type for sure! Whatever the red wine I had was incredible. First 2 glasses seemed a bit small for a 'small', next 2 were about right! I didn't see an option for a bottle or a large class. Price was very reasonable for the food and the ambient setting. Service was superb too. I paid by card and it was a bit unsettling for my card to disappear out of sight for a few minutes, but I am a worrier. All is fine. Slept very well! Bed is firm however I've no back problems this morning. Shower is good. Aircon is lovely. View from my private balcony is of the pool, the gym which looks superb. You can use the gym for an additional charge. Not sure how much but I imagine it's reasonable as there are always people using it, some fit some eager to get fitter. Location is fine. Shops within 1 minute for cold drinks and snacks etc. I've another night here, so if anything changes I can put it on my next review!

Fantastic value for money, originally booked just one week, extended it for a further two weeks. Everything you need a few minutes walk away but very quiet (apart from other guests) during the day and night. Lady on reception most helpful and extremely sweet and the two gentlemen, I believe one is the owner, we're most considerate, always asking if everything was ok. More than happy with my stay here and would definitely stay again if I return to Patong
