Right in the middle of the Old City, Old Street Khiva offers a no frills stay. Run by a man and his wife who doubles up as the hotel's cleaning staff, this place is guaranteed to make you feel cosy and at home, which I absolutely loved. Check in was smooth and you can pay in USD or SOM and drinks were available though not free. Breakfast of an awesome variety was provided - please, and I really mean PLEASE try their homemade jam. It's super delicious! Bonus: if any of their kids are in the lobby (which is essentially their hall), please play with them!

The accommodation is located within old Khiva close to all attractions there. The staff was very helpful and we were able to accommodate there at 8am after our night train arrival. There was served good breakfast there.

Excellent! The hotel manager met me on the railway station upon my request (I have injured the leg and have asked for assistance) - it was exceptional delicate and helpful. All through my stay I felt the care of the hotel personnel, as well as the assistance with early departure.

Super kind guest! Absolutely a wonderful welcome in Khiva. He waited for us late in the evening and he gave us something to eat, when everything was closed outside. The guesthouse is close to the Eastern Gate, perfect to visit the city center and to go easy to the train station walking. The room is simple, but clean, with private bathroom.

A good location for a relaxing holiday in Khiva, Khiva Khan Hotel is a guest house surrounded by views of the city.

Lovely hotel walking distance from Itchan Kala - 2 mins. Family run and they go out of their way to help with everything. Catered for my baby son got milk, washed my bottles etc happily without any problems. Clean room and bathrooms. Made whatever we asked for breakfast. Arranged airport pick up through them which was smooth. Can’t complain and would stay here again. Please note they do not have a card machine . So either cash or bank transfer. However when we tried to bank transfer there was no account number or IBAN so had to go to atm and get cash, luckily the machine had enough . So I do feel cash is most sensible option .

This guesthouse is run by a family who are very warm and take the best care of their guests. We spent only one night and the property was inside the old town and very near to all the tourist attractions inside the old town. The hosts serve good breakfast and can be customised for vegetarians as well. They are happy to organize tours for reasonable prices. Overall we really liked our stay as it was very practical and comfortable

The owner is very lovely and thorough, she always asked what time we want to have breakfast and for a fee she offered to prepare other meals like dinner too. Food was nice and filling, room and bathroom was neat and clean. I would highly recommend this place, it also have great location right next to all of the main attractions of Chiva!
