Family-run for over 300 years, Gasthof Post in Rennweg is just off the A10 motorway and a 5-minute drive from the Katschberg Ski Area. It offers a sauna, steam bath, and free Wi-Fi. The restaurant serves traditional Austrian and Carinthian cuisine. We enjoyed our stay at Gasthof Post very much. Traditional Austrian decor with the hints of modern was exactly what we wanted. Super clean, comfortable bads and specious rooms. Great Austrian hospitality.

It is only a 10-minute bus ride to the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier and Zell am See ski areas. It’s really calm and great for couple days, location is good, everything in walking distance

Situated in Irschen, 40 km from Roman Museum Teurnia, Frühstückspension Irschen features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Everything was excellent — very friendly and caring staff, delicious breakfast, a comfortable and clean room. The hotel is located in a beautiful village where we spent the whole evening walking, and you can also find trails leading up into the forest. There is a closed garage for motorcycles. We will definitely come back again.

The family that owns and operates this recently renovated property welcomed us with open arms and took very good care of us. Our room was very comfortable. The shower was great. Balcony views incredible. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in Carinthia, mostly locally sourced fresh products. Good coffee, good eggs. We are hiking Alpe Adria trail and this has been one of our favorite stays. Thanks for hosting us! I would highly recommend a stay here to anyone walking Alpe Adria or touring my car in the area.

The room was very comfortable, it wasn't ensuite, and the bathroom facilities were very good. Our evening meal in the restaurant was so tasty (we selected an Austrian dish). Plus homemade Strudel! Breakfast again excellent. Hospitality from the owners was great also.
