It was the perfect start to my day before heading out into those amazing mountains. I had a great view. I was surprised my room didn't come with a bathroom, but had no issues accessing whenever I needed it.

This quietly located guesthouse is 12 km from the village center of Grindelwald and is only accessible by gondola. (In summer, it is also accessible via various hiking trails.) Fantastic location, really beautiful and scenic. We got upgraded to a family room on the 4th floor with stunning views over The Valley. Very clean. Comfortable beds and bed linen. Shower was very hot. Staff really friendly.

Situated in the car-free Wengen in the Jungfrau Region, Hotel Berghaus enjoys a quiet location surrounded by the Bernese Alps. The Männlichen Cable Car and the village centre are only a short walk away. The hotel is just above the main street and is a 10 minute walk from the station, and 3 minutes uphill from the main street, which makes it a bit more of a quiet area and is a nice place to relax. The views from the balcony (off of the room) of the valley were stunning. The staff were so friendly and helpful - we wouldn't hesitate to stay the next time we are in the area. We only had the breakfast which featured many local products which was super nice to have to get your day started.

Superior rooms are situated on the front side and boast views of the famous mountains, the quiet standard rooms are situated on the backside. Free WiFi is available in all areas of the hotel. Comfortable, clean rooms with a fantastic view from the balcony. Jeanette (owner) was friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed our stay.
