The guest house features family rooms. We had a very pleasant stay at this guest house. The house itself is very nice, with pretty, clean room. The location is great. Within walking distance of Edinburgh city centre, and there’s also a bus stop nearby if you prefer not to walk. Parking is available, but spaces are limited, so it’s a good idea to reserve in advance. The staff were lovely and welcoming. One small note: rooms on the higher floors might be a challenge for elderly guests or anyone with mobility issues, as the stairs are quite steep.

It's outside the centre,a good walk but just minutes on the bus that stops outside for both directions. Ready to visit again soon!😃

Alia, the owner, is the best and really cared for our comfort, and she has made sure to have umbrellas, sugars and other things at the entrance for her guests’ perusal. Great value for money in Edinburgh where all types of accommodation are very expensive especially in summer. Overall, highly recommend the Roost Hill Guest House!

The rooms and beds are big enough and have a homely feel to them. The breakfast is insanely good. Would recommend everything but definitely try the porridge with whisky, honey and cream. I'll definitely be back whenever I visit Edinburgh. Location is near the tram as well.
