The property offers allergy-free units and is set 2.5 km from National Museum of Scotland. Absolutely loved the Lauderville guest house. Host was incredible and nothing was too much to ask. The four poster room was incredibly cosy and the perfect setting for our Christmas break.

Located in the Broughton district, the guest house is within 6.2 km of Arthurs Seat. Lovely place with very welcoming and receptive staff. Room was spacious and luxurious with a couple of sofa ledges. Amenities provided were extensive as well, including cognac on top of regular items. Breakfast was impressive and varied, and of course its the Scottish that has porridge with whisky, who else would!

The hosts, Chris and Sinead, were fabulous, very friendly and helpful. The homemade shower gel was really lovely to use also. The location, about 25min by bus from Edinburgh was just what we wanted, quiet and close to the beach. The bus stop was only a 2min walk away but we had no traffic noise.

Located 16 km from Murrayfield Stadium, the property provides a garden. Edinburgh Zoo is 16 km from the guest house and Hopetoun House is 18 km away. Super friendly landlady. Nice room, comfortable bed, good shower, excellent breakfast, private parking. We wanted to stay the night somewhere out of the hussle & bustle of Edinburgh and this was the perfect location. We asked for advice on somewhere to eat in the evening and she suggested "The Grapes Village Pub" nearby in East Calder. It was cosy, had friendly staff, and the best pub meal we've had for a longtime.

In general, accommodation around Edinburgh is quite expensive so we found this place which was relatively affordable compared to other places and had a high rating. It is a house-turned-b&b, has 3 small rooms and a nice small dining room. Everything was super clean and Lorna was the friendliest host we have ever met. She gives you a small form to fill every night to get your breakfast preferences and time to eat. Her cooking is lovely. Definitely recommend her full Scottish breakfast with Haggis. She cooked the best haggis out of the 3 restaurants we tried. The only downside was that the place is quite far from the city (45 min bus ride - take X27) and there is only one bus that goes there but if you catch it and don't mind the travel time, it is definitely worth a stay.

He prepared a booklet/guide with a lot of detailed information about where to eat and the transports. The housekeeper even found an item that we forgot in the room. The room was very clean.
