Beautiful location right on the river, surrounded by nature and beautiful views, a retreat from the busy-ness of town. It is only a short motorbike ride into town, and you can walk ~10 mins to get to an alfamart/indomaret. I did 2 days jungle trekking with Andi who was a great guide. We saw lots of orangutans and other wildlife, and he shared a lot of great information about the jungle. I went with a group and he was very attentive with the guests and everyone's different needs and comfort levels with the hiking. Dika, Dedek, and the rest of the family were so friendly and happy to answer any questions or help with anything, and make an amazing breakfast which is included. Andi arranged a car to and from the airport. Wifi was functional most of the time, which was helpful because I spent a lot of time working remotely in the restaurant. Bed in my room was very firm and comfortable, which is important to note because some different guesthouses where I've stayed have had very squishy, sinking beds. Bathroom has good showerhead water pressure, a western style toilet, and bidet. They provide toilet paper if needed. Towels also provided. Screens on windows prevent mosquitos from getting inside, and there is a fan inside the room for when it gets hot. Overall, a beautiful place to stay and a family business that makes you feel like family. Highly recommend!

A bicycle rental service is available at the guest house. The hospitality is great! Easy communication with the host. Robert was great at getting back to me with questions I had. The place is very clean, comfortable bed. I had an excellent meal there. Hot shower. The view is beautiful. The place is located in a more secluded area, not near the city but very close to the ferry.

Excellent family that made feel as a member of their warm and kind community ❤️ They treated me so kind, they were helpful and took care of me what was really nice. Thank you 😊 Their jungle trekking also was high-quality in service, attention and entertainment. I stayed several weeks instead of a few days, def would like to come back.

All units at the guest house are equipped with a seating area. The guest house provides certain units that include sea views, and every unit has a private bathroom and a desk. The units will provide guests with a wardrobe and a kettle. Don’t miss out on this gem. The best place we stayed in Indonesia. The bungalow is very romantic. Located directly by the sea, nice and comfortable bed (with a good mosquito net which is not on the pictures), tank with drinkwater and really nice bathroom with warm water and a proper shower. A few meters away from the bungalow, there is a private beach where you can snorkle (gear is available at the bungalow). Amazing reefs and fishes only 3 meters from the shore. The bungalow is also located centrally in between Iboih and Gapang beach on the one side, and Sabang city on the other. Both can be easily reached by scooter which you can rent from the hosts (it’s the best scooter we had in Indonesia so far)! Besides the bungalow we have to mention Borja and Yuyun, the hosts. They were by far the best, sweetest, most helpful and most welcoming persons we have met during our travels. They invited us for dinner in Sabang city, helped arranging transportation (not only on the island, but could also help with transportation in other places in Indonesia), and lots of other things. Yuyun even joined us to the phone shop in Sabang city to buy a new Indonesian simcard (since the initial one we bought in Bali didn’t work). We would recommend everybody to pay a visit to Pulau Weh. The people are the nicest people ever, the “island vibe” is unbeatable and diving here is amazing. Moreover, we would recommend everybody to stay at Seagate. You will never forget the experience!
