The tractor theme and the story behind in (including the cowshed) are a highlight! The breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and nearby coastline from my room were simply awe-inspiring. The breakfast, featuring a delightful array of local and homemade delicacies, was a true feast for the taste buds. (Especially the homeade jam!) The use of fresh, locally sourced ingredients added an extra touch of authenticity to the dining experience, making it a perfect start to the day. Beyond the physical aspects of the guest house, the staff's extensive knowledge of the local area and their genuine passion for sharing Iceland's rich history and culture truly sets Drangar Guest House apart. Their recommendations for nearby attractions, hidden gems, and off-the-beaten-path experiences allowed me and my husband to explore Iceland in a truly authentic way, creating memories that will last a lifetime. We would love to back in the winter!

"Rekyaveeek", "Veeek" & "Olasveek"....Takk Monika!! 🫶🙂 P/S : Bonus supermarket is literally in Monika's backyard....convenient! 😋

Sudur-Bár Guesthouse’s bright, simple rooms have either a private bathroom with shower or an in-room wash basin and separate shared bathroom. Studios with kitchenettes and TVs are also available. Everything, this place is just amazing! The cottage is in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by the mountines and with a wonderful seeview. I will come back for sure if I'll ever be in Iceland again, which I really hope. Breakfast was served directly in the cottage and every kind of food was provided. Everything was just perfect!

You have a great view to the sea, the room was cosy and the water was hot. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!
