Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). C’était super bien placé et super propre!

The hotel was beautiful design, beautiful location, exceptionally clean and pleasant. We loved that this is also a social impact program - providing training and employment to disabled people. Really beautiful all around.

Reo was such a good host and Tora is such a good cat. We chatted for ages and exchanged gifts. The room was an authentic Japanese experience.

Mon séjour à Tonari a été vraiment exceptionnel, grâce à l'énergie que mettent les propriétaires Kana-san et Taka-san à aider au maximum les personnes qui y séjournent. La guesthouse est confortable et grâce à son espace commun éloigné de l'espace nuit, on peut autant profiter d'une bonne nuit de sommeil dans les lits confortables et propres que de rencontrer les autres personnes de passage. Même à pieds, on peut profiter de la campagne japonaise, et il est possible de louer un vélo à la guesthouse pour visiter autour (notamment le onsen).

Situé à Hikino, l’établissement ゲストハウスみちしお propose un salon commun. Les hébergements offrent une vue sur la mer et disposent de la climatisation, d’un bureau et d’une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite. Koji is the most generous owner and genunely welcome to help. He picked us up from the port and even picked us up from another port in the night time (we survived from the most adventurous journey - thankful to Koji!). Talk about the place: the guesthouse is cozy and warm. The shared facilities included kitchen and washing machine. The price of ramen and washing pods are the same price in the convenience store and may be cheaper. E-bikes are also provided with the cheap rate (1000 yen/day).

L’établissement Minpaku Yorozuya - Vacation STAY 12905 se situe à Kurayoshi, à 49 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Tottori Sand Dunes. It was a great experience to stay at Minpaku Yorozuya. It was an interesting experience to live like a local in a tatami room. The owners of the property are very nice and hospitable people. In the owners' house, you can see a large collection of things related to the famous anime "Detective Conan". In addition, the respected owner showed us very beautiful lamps that he makes himself, and in the evening the owners kindly offered us to try a traditional Japanese tea ceremony with a sensei with the opportunity to make our own green tea. They also treated us to delicious baked sweet potatoes and gave us souvenirs related to the anime. It was very nice. At Yura Station, where the property is located, there are many interesting locations dedicated to the anime Detective Conan. If you are a fan of this anime, or just interested in Japanese culture and traditions, you should definitely stay at this friendly house.

L’établissement HEM'S HOTEL 1日1組限定 new vous accueille à Miyajima, à respectivement 2,4 km et 400 mètres de ces lieux d’intérêt : Plage Tsutsumigaura et Pagode à 5 étages de Miyajima. Unique hotel in a renovated Japanese home. Great location, quiet. It was very hot so a/c had difficulty keeping up but small issue for us. Great staff who served us a delicious breakfast which was included.

L’établissement OMISHIMA SPACE Omoya se situe à Imabari, à 30 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine. Il possède un jardin, un salon commun, une terrasse et un parking privé gratuit. The host was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was incredibly clean and orderly. Traditional japanese housing but at the same time had a feeling of modernity. I was impressed by the attention to detail on all amenities present in the accommodation. The bed was so comfortable. It has a perfect location for those cycling the Shimanami Kaido. Keep in mind that it is a shared house, so you will be sharing the same common spaces with others staying, although this was no issue for me. I would highly recommend Omishima Space and I hope to be back in future!
