Everything is so clean and well kept, the staff is so friendly, welcoming and helpful and there is a wonderful sense of community among those staying there. One of the Hakuba ski resorts is in walking distance and the food at dark horse was outstanding. The hotel is super clean, beds are incredibly comfortable, it’s nice and and warm everywhere, and dogs are welcome. We’ll be coming back for sure.

The price of the hotel was very affordable and could walk to train station if having no luggage. Atsu was very accommodating to our trip plan change. He was thoughtful to drop us to the Shinano-Matsukawa station that the waiting area was warmer & was in town. Guest rooms were on the 2nd floor of a Curry Restaurant. Atsu helped carrying the suitcase up to the room & brought us furniture that we needed. He was also the chef of the restaurant. The food was yummy. We highly recommended this

The host is very responsive before, during, and after the stay. Even though the bathroom and showers are shared, all the facilities are clean and the amenities provided, such as coin laundry, a fully-stocked kitchen, and a cosy common area, really exceeded my expectations. AEON mall / supermarket is 5 minutes away and the JR station/bus terminal is about 20 minutes away on foot. Easy peasy in terms of access. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed the stay in 遊来る guest house, even though I didn’t get too much time to look around, as I arrived late, I had a chance to have a pleasant chat with the owners.
