From the amazing homemade breakfast to the delicious ramen dinners they prepared, every meal was made with care and love. The guest house is conveniently located, just a short walk from a supermarket and a laundromat, which made things really easy for us. This personal, welcoming experience truly made our trip special. Sendai Toshogu is 21 km away and Rakuten Seimei Park Miyagi is 22 km from the guest house. Great location, comfy bed and mostly the human touch. The owner was really nice and helpful. He explained everything about the guest house and its rules so even though the house was full, everything was smooth. He also recommended place to have breakfast and told me fun facts about real life in Japan I wouldn't have change to learn.

The host was wonderful - so helpful and so willing to communicate by means of phone translator. She organised us a taxi to Mt Gassan 8th station. Food was fab. Hope to return to do more of the local pilgrimage routes. Mt Kaguro is on the doorstep.
