We love that it's located in a quiet and pleasant neighborhood. It's so peaceful to take morning walks. The facilities and amenities are very accommodating, and it's easy to operate, as the host made a house manual for the guests. The washing machine is particularly convenient for us since we didn't bring that many clothes. You can relax in the tub after a long day, and there's also a microwave to reheat food. The house is very clean and has just enough space for 6 people. We love that it's near Tokyo Skytree and another mall, so it's convenient to find food and shops.

The twin room was clearly a standard Japanese studio apartment with a lovely small kitchen and big bathroom and shower room. The room was very comfy and clean. It had all the amenities that we needed for our 2 week stay. I was so grateful they had an iron and ironing board, and they even had 2 umbrellas which was very useful! There was also plenty of storage space in the closet for a few large luggage and plenty of hangers to organize our clothes. The location is also fantastic. Just far away enough from all the noise and traffic of high tourist area, but also extremely convenient in terms of transportation to just about anywhere in Tokyo. Oshiage Station and Tokyo Skytree Station are both only 10 minutes walk away that easily connected us to the rest of Tokyo. Otherwise, there are plenty of convenient bus lines less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel that takes you everywhere else.

The owners were so kind, they were even willing to accommodate our lack of Japanese language skills. The breakfast on the porch in the morning was such a treat, highly recommended it. Also, the location was great, the room had an amazing view of the Tama Rive Gorge! The room was well equipped and roomy. I also liked that it was within walking distance of the river walk and other sites.

You can do laundry for a small additional cost as well as rent a bike and store luggage for a few days. The location is nice if you are coming from Narita and is very close to Ueno park. I loved how clean and well equipped it is! The bathtub is amazing as well. Very rare to find in Japan. After hiking all day, I could take a long hot bath and just allow myself to fully rest. It was wonderful! Their shop next door was a great addition and convenience. I’m obsessed with the passion fruit cider they had there!!!
