The hostel was fantastic. We rented a tatami room, which was spotless, very comfortable and with a really nice view. The onsen was amazing, we absolutely loved it. Everything was clean, there were snacks, eggs to boil in the onsens in town and all cooking and serving tools to eat them afterwards. The bathrooms were incredibly clean. This was our favourite stay along the Kumano Kodo, despite being the cheapest.

You feel right at home as the atmosphere is like staying at friends. Incredibly comfortable room.

My family and I liked how spacious, convenient and warm welcoming our host was! The location was few minutes walking distance to local restaurants and family mart. It was also approximately 8 minutes from Kumano Hayatama Taisha and in front of the bus stop heading towards to Nachi. Our host, Sasaki-san, was also kind to give us an introduction to the place along with offering free icecream, beer and sake! Overall we recommend this place!

It is located 29 km from Kamitonda Concert Hall and features full-day security. The guest house has parking on-site, a hot tub and a shared kitchen. Everything was great, specially our host Ike. He was super friendly and offered us a small taste of sake, he even offered to do our laundry. The dinner and breakfast that was prepared was great. Be sure to order the lunchbox since it’s a long way and there’s only 1 place to eat along the way after 3 km. The location was good and the room was clean. Certainly would recommend to anyone.

The guest house has a hot tub and bicycle parking. a very unique, lively place. a great owner! very unique gentleman. we went to surf together the following day. he missed my reservation request so was quite surprised and didn't want me to stay for another right I think :D but it's totally fine because he is a very colorful and unique person to accommodate in his place!
