The property is located 7 km from R Premadasa Stadium, 7 km from U.S. Embassy and 8 km from Khan Clock Tower. Arcade Independence Square is 4 km away and Sinhalese Sports Club is 4.1 km from the guest house. I loved staying at this beautiful, proud, authentic and uncompromising Sri Lankan family home come hotel, finished as it was to the highest of standards and so very tastefully decorated, all risen up from the once lakeside bank. I was greeted by my courteous hosts on arrival, respectful of my long journey from the UK, and made to feel welcomed and comfortable right away. My accommodation was as described and expected; it was immaculate (cleaned twice during my stay of three nights) and more than adequate for my needs. The food was delicious; although breakfast was lovely, my evening meals have been the best I have had here so far, being especially well cooked and prepared, further enhancing my first-time-in-Sri Lanka experience. The hosts arranged local tuc tucs and drivers for me, usually at short notice, and we're always keen to help out, particularly with timings on my leaving day. I said that if I came to Sri Lanka again I would stay here again and I meant it. Thank you all for the quality of all of your services and your thoughtfulness throughout my stay.

Certain units include a kitchenette, dining, and a washing machine facilities. Staying at 55TG boutique from April 2nd to 3rd, 2025, was the perfect way to conclude our Sri Lankan adventure. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer! We arrived early from Tangalle, and the staff kindly allowed us an early check-in to our room, the "Art Suite with a beautiful Garden View". It was beautifully decorated, spacious, and impeccably clean. We initially found the wifi signal weak, but our host, Dilshan, immediately demonstrated his exceptional attentiveness by bringing a router directly to our room, which resolved the issue completely – we had a great connection afterwards! The service from Dilshan and his crew throughout our stay was outstanding; their attentiveness made us feel like we were guests in a 5-star restaurant. The food was another major highlight. While seafood wasn't available on the menu during our short stay, the team was very accommodating and even offered to purchase alcohol externally for us if needed. We had lunch, dinner, and breakfast there, and everything was absolutely delicious. The fish curry and rice at dinner was genuinely the BEST meal we had during our entire trip! They even made the setting incredibly romantic, decorating our table with rose petals. As if that wasn't enough, they surprised me on my birthday morning! I certainly wasn't expecting techno birthday music to accompany my scrumptious breakfast – it was such a fun and unexpected touch. It made our early departure for the airport feel even more bittersweet, and we truly wished we could have tipped Dilshan and the staff more generously for their fantastic service. The grounds were quiet and private, contributing to a very peaceful atmosphere and a great night's sleep. Our stay felt far too short but was simply wonderful. Our sincere compliments and thanks to everyone at 55TG boutique for making our stay so memorable and special. It was the perfect ending. (P.S.

Staying at this hotel was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. it truly felt like home, thanks to their warm and genuine hospitality. I have traveled many times and stayed in numerous hotels, but none have matched the comfort and care I found here. A heartfelt thanks to the owner, Mr. Shane, the manager, Sisira, and the entire staff, who went above and beyond to take care of me, especially when I was unwell. Their kindness and attentiveness made all the difference. The food is absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and prepared with so much attention to detail. The rooms are spotlessly clean, neat, and designed to provide maximum comfort. The environment is stunning, especially with the serene riverside view that adds so much charm and peace to the stay. What impressed me further was the reasonable pricing, which is more than justified for the exceptional service and experience they provide. For me, this place has become more than just a hotel—it’s my second home. Whenever I return to Sri Lanka, I won’t be looking for another place to stay, because I’ve already found the perfect one. 💖

Spacious. Nice decor. Everything was thought of right down to an umbrella at the door.

Coffee and tea are always available and shops are in close vicinity. I also liked the stroll down to the river. With so much nature around one might forget to be still in Colombo. I am looking forward to coming back here and enjoy the hospitality. 🙂
