Super chill and cozy vibes with hammocks, rooftop yoga and a café within the hostel. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

My friend and I stayed here for one night and we couldn’t have picked a better place. Ajith, our host, was unbelievably helpful and kind. We had just made a shady experience with a tuk tuk driver and Ajith helped us get out of the situation and organised a new transport for us. He made us feel so safe and his breakfasts are phenomenal. The bedroom is clean, has AC, hot water - literally anything you need.

Everything was perfect: location (on the main road), healthy &tasty breakfasts, clean and cozy rooms, nice pool. 100% recommend this place.

They were extremely communicative, helpful, and eager to help. A special shoutout to Rasindu here who went above and beyond to make sure that the stay was as comfortable as can be. Rooms are very clean and the bed was comfortable. They prepared a continental and Sri Lankan breakfast every day which was delicious. I had requested for early breakfast a few times and the team did their best to accommodate them! I would certainly come back here again if I return to Hikkaduwa!

Set in Hikkaduwa, 100 metres from Narigama beach and 17 km from Galle International Cricket Stadium, Alvas house offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. With garden views, this accommodation provides a balcony. Outdoor seating is also available at the guest house. The accommodation is very centrally located and but also in a quiet side street. The beautifully furnished rooms, the green garden, the shared kitchen and the roof terrace immediately give you a wonderful feeling of being at home. Everything is super clean and is cleaned and aired daily. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful. It quickly felt as if we had known them for years, as they really put so much heart into their work. We will definitely come back.
