Beautiful landscapes around, the area is worth a walk. The owners of the facility were extremely friendly, Mrs. Fatima fed us like no one else in Morocco, the best home-made food. The host and everyone was so welcoming, warm and just amazing. As well they were easy going with our spontaneous request to stay one more night. Would definitely recommend.

All guest rooms at the accommodation feature air conditioning and a desk. Wow! What an amazing experience! Our stay was truly memorable, thanks to the wonderful staff and excellent facilities. The food was exceptional, making our group of 13 feel right at home. Initially as we were driving through the dark roads to what felt like the middle of nowhere, we had some concerns about choosing a place in a small village. However, upon our late-night arrival, we were warmly welcomed. We brought our dinner with us as we had enough of Tajine; they were extremely kind to provide us with fresh orange juice to accompany our meal. The next morning, we were greeted by breathtaking views of the palm oasis, and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast - fresh avocados, salads, and traditional Moroccan dishes. We enjoyed hiking to the nearby mountains and exploring the beautiful palm groves. I also want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Khira (I hope I spelled that correctly), who went above and beyond during a challenging moment. When my daughter became ill during the night, Khira was incredibly helpful. She accompanied us to the hospital, assisted with translations, and supported us throughout the entire process, all while maintaining a positive and kind demeanor. The next morning, despite her long night, she was back to her regular routine. We are extremely grateful for her assistance. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a stay in the area.

For guests with children, the guest house offers a baby safety gate. Guests at Luna del fuego can enjoy cycling and fishing nearby, or make the most of the garden. A gorgeous authentic hostel style place with a real family feel. Lovely area outside to sit and soak up the sun. Staff were lovely and welcoming. Room was comfortable and spacious. Dinner was absolutely delicious and very very well priced. Overall a lovely place to stay with stunning views.

The area is popular for walking tours, and car hire is available at the guest house. It was an amazing experience to stay at this wonderful place. We were welcomed with open arms by the owner. The service, the food, the hospitality, the cleanliness of the room, everything was absolutely amazing !! I highly recommend this wonderful place 👍👍

The hosts (Omar and Hassan) were absolutely lovely, so caring and accommodating. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and spotless. We had both breakfast and dinner, and everything was delicious, clearly prepared and served with love. The hotel is perfectly located right by the dunes , just a short walk through palm trees and you’re there. We’re so pleased our trip to faraway Merzouga was perfect, and staying here truly made the whole experience feel wholesome and complete. Hopefully we can come back one day!

At Auberge Palacio Sidi Hamza every room has a seating area. This place is a little gem hidden in the Atlas mountains. The village is the ideal place for relaxing, far from the chaos of cars and cities. We suggest travelers to spend here at least two nights, and take advantage of excursions and trekkings that can be arranged by the hotel (special thanks to Hassan who guided us through the mountains, inside a cave and cooked us a delicious barbeque in the wilds). The host Laarbi was very nice and welcoming, and he also helped us in organising the rest of our Moroccan trip.
