Bike hire and car hire are available at this guest house and the area is popular for surfing. I absolutely loved my stay at this riad. I was in room No. 2 which had a fantastic view of the ocean. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed – they greeted me with Moroccan mint tea and cookies and took me up to the rooftop, which overlooks the sea. My room was beautifully decorated, and while I could hear the wind, it actually added to the charm. One of the highlights was when I mentioned wanting to explore. A staff member kindly offered to show me around the nearby fish market, guiding me through hidden alleyways I might’ve missed or assumed were off-limits. This thoughtful gesture gave me a deeper, more authentic experience that I’m so grateful for. I truly can’t recommend this place highly enough. The location made it easy to get around – Google Maps took me right back to the riad each time, and there are amazing restaurants, unique shops, and lively markets nearby. The only thing I missed in the room was a luggage rack to place my suitcase on. Space is a bit tight in this room and that would help. I hope to make it back here again one day.

This Riad is the prettiest hotel I have ever stayed at! (And I travel a lot!) It feels like an absolute dream. Super friendly staff, location is close to the Medina. Everything about riad Ilyan is perfect ! From the food to the hosts and all of the staff. It was my wife’s and my first trip ever to Morocco and definitely our new mates Moha and Ahmed improved the whole experience. Never got so excited for breakfast ever in my life hahah.
