They provide a boat and car ride for you for transfers to and from Hell-ville. I really liked the Lokobe Reserve. The rooms are great and spacious, lemurs come up to your bedroom door. Great mini hike to a tide beach, that appears or is submerged depending on sea level. Very very good for families and very safe for solo female Travellers.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a pool with a view, pool view and a balcony, Villa Vintana Nosy Be is located in Nosy Be. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The guest house also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Giannie, the host, was incredible. She took great care of us during our stay and then went above and beyond afterwards. We had mistakenly packed a couple of their towels which she came to collect from the next hotel we stayed at. She organized an airport transfer at a much better rate than our next hotel offered. When our next hotel couldn't arrange a babysitter she found one. And, lastly, when our son left his small suitcase in the taxi that we took to the airport, she arranged to get it back and hold it at Villa Vintana until we returned again. Gracious and cheerful from start to finish. The common areas are limited, but they make the best of them--some board games, games for the kids, TV and lounge area. And they organized tours at a much better rate than other hotels. Food and drink prices were also better value than other restaurants or hotels we went to.

A big thank you to Iacopo and Diego who made my holiday on this fantastic island one of the most beautiful memories I will cherish forever thanks to their great helpfulness and kindness! Real value for (little) money, absolutely recommended!

Boasting an open-air bath and views of garden, villa Mena is a recently renovated guest house situated in Nosy Be, a few steps from Ambondrona Beach. This beachfront property offers access to a patio. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, a shared kitchen and currency exchange for guests. we had a very large room right on the beach with a terrace with table and chairs and deck chairs! it was furnished and decorated with lovely African touches! the bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water and a fan! the whole property was kept spotless by the wonderful friendly staff! Patrique and his lovely wife and team were so welcoming and we felt right at home having breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea. Patrique was so helpful with local information and any questions you may have. There is a kitchen to use which is well equipped and very clean too! There are a few eating options in the area and you are right in the little village too (but it is very quiet!) We did not want to leave but sometimes you just have to move on! A great budget option! Great accomodation, very friendly and helpful staff, always with a big smile!, clean rooms (even special efforts on making up the bed!), nice view over the valley, top location: quiet neighbourhood although still close to the main road and village. Staff helped with any questions asked. Pool at the top is a real asset to relax. Loved the colourful paintings on the walls! Felt really welcome to stay here, and it was a pleasure!
