Our room was clean, comfortable, quiet and huge! The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, even decorating the room for my birthday. Overall- a fantastic stay and we hope to be back!

Giancarlo was a great host. Super nice and lots of good advice and recommendations. 2. I had the smaller room with a shared bathroom. But it was shared with Giancarlo, so it was always clean ... almost like having all to myself. 3. Overall, very comfortable and conveniently located. If I visit Gozo again, will stay here again.

Run by 2 sisters, Maria Giovanna Guest House takes its name from their mother and grandmother who managed the property before them. One of the sisters is a pastry chef and prepares homemade cakes for breakfast each morning. Amazing stay – highly recommend! Everything was perfect – clean room, super comfortable bed and a great location close to everything but still quiet. The host was friendly and helpful with great local tips. Nice homemade and fresh breakfast. We felt at home, and Sonja and Ana made our vacation enjoyable.Would definitely stay here again!

I had the entire upper floor with access to a roof patio, along with a balcony with a view of the cittadella. It was immaculately clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The location was very central, a short stroll from St George's Square. David was a great host, very open, friendly & informative and speaks 5 different languages. Wish I could have stayed here longer.
