Lovely accommodation near Mrizi i zanave. Hosts, Jimmy and Arta, were very helpful, friendly. Room was spacious, lovely decorated, perfectly clean. Nice yard, with two small dogs, cat, chicken. Fine breakfast for small additional fee.

Marjana and her family are incredibly warm and welcoming. Our little daughter fell in love with her and spent every possible moment by her side. Yet if you prefer privacy, the guesthouse is well separated and peaceful. Marjana is a beautiful and generous Albanian woman who prepares the most amazing breakfasts, using local and seasonal ingredients. The location is perfect — close to the famous Mrizi i Zanave restaurant, Koman Lake, and Shkodër. If you’re seeking the real Albania, far from tourist resorts, this is the place for you. Had a wonderful time staying at Guesthouse Koleci and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the area. Our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The traditional Albanian breakfast was also a highlight.

Where can I start? I have no words for the great hospitality and kindness of our hosts at guesthouse Marku. Even though we could not understand each other, we had the warmest welcome and the best stay! We could wash our clothes, which was very much appreciated after a sweaty hike from Valbonë to Theth. The room was brand new and extremely clean. But above all, the breakfast was one in a million! Fresh tomatoes, cucumber, grapes, peaches, red berries, bacon, eggs, honey, bread… and even handmade cheese, yogurt, beignets… To top this off, a nice cappuccino to start our day! We followed the recommendation to visit the local ceramic atelier and had diner at Mrizi i zanave, where we also got tour of the farm. Do not hesitate to book, you will not regret this amazing stay!I
