Perfect in every way! A lovely family, great location - you step out the back door directly onto the Rosni peak trail. Food was great and not crazily overpriced like most guesthouses. While we were there the family’s niece was also there to visit who we enjoyed some nice and interesting conversations with. Would absolutely recommend!

The couple that hosted us, ledio’s parents were absolutely wonderful. Some of the kindest and most welcoming people who also are incredible chefs. We had two dinners and two breakfasts each of which was phenomenal and the highlight of the peaks of the Balkans hike food-wise. The property is located in an amazing place. It has a view unlike one you've ever seen. There is also a really nice restaurant/lounge area where you can order food at and get cold drinks. There is also a small little shop nearby the entrance where you can get "supermarket" items. The staff was super friendly and approachable and did a lot to make sure that we felt welcome. They also allowed us to "upgrade" to a room with a balcony on the second day which was a nice addition.

We had such a great stay, will definitely come back here in the future. We only had 2 full days, but there is so much more to see and places to visit nearby. The room we had was nice and cool during the day. We had a simple room, this was our choice, so no television. The area is so peaceful and silent that we were able to leave behind our stressful jobs and retreat from all the news and social media. You can just sit in the garden and enjoy the view of the mountains and the valley, it's truly mesmerizing! The breakfast is great, and so is the diner. We would really recommend taking the diner option over here. Its plenty of food and a great way to experience the local/Albanian cuisine!

Incredible peaceful setting surrounded by mountains. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and the young hosts were very accommodating. Food as delicious and home cooked - very large portions! Easily could have stayed longer than one night before our trek.

This is an amazing place! Situated above the village of Valbona you have an amazing view, beautiful room, lovely balconies and an amazing host who supports you with everything you need! He took us to a local place for dinner which we enjoyed a lot! Also he helped us with the hike to Theth and prepared sandwiches for us! We cannot recommend this place highly enough and will definately come back!

    We had an amazing time at the Stonehouse. Lovely hosts who were always there for everything we needed and showed us several hiking tours. We enjoyed the tasty food, the nice garden and the interesting stories they told us about the valley. Definitely a perfect place to stay!

    This was like having a lovely home stay experience. Our room was basic but adequate, and was good value for money. There was easy access to a comfortable balcony with a magnificent view. The food was plentiful and home grown and cooked by our very lovely hosts.They were helpful in finding transport to the Valbone trail head. It was overall a great experience .

    Lovely host family that was really welcoming. Great location as it is a short walk from the town centre. Delicious dinner provided by the host for an extra 9 euros and they also provide packed lunch for a small fee if you are doing the hike to Theth the next day.
