The only way to feel at home on a holiday is to stay in a home. That’s just what this is: the host’s summer house. It’s fully equipped and decorated and feels like being in your own holiday home. We loved the view of the mountains and canyon (photo from a hill just behind the house), being woken by roosters in the neighbourhood and the basket swing that our daughter loved. You can walk easily to Sanahin Monastery and it’s within easy striking distance of Haghpat, Aktala, Odzun and other very, very old churches and monasteries.

Perfect location in a historical house just next to the Sanahin Monastery. The hosts are a very friendly family and they make sure their guests feel comfortable and happy. They helped me to arrange taxis to all the monasteries located in the vicinity. The vegetarian breakfast was delicious and very reasonably priced.

Everything was very good, I honestly did not expect to receive such a reception in a small village. I was surprised by the owner and lady of the house, who received me with warm hospitality. I liked and admired the cleanliness of the room, the bed was clean, in a minimalistic style. I was treated to the guest house's brand raspberry wine, I just couldn't get enough of the taste and decided that I should buy a bottle of wine. The horse race organized by the hosts was also indescribable, the horse was so beautiful, not to mention the nature, as if I was in a movie. In short, come to GALA guest house and feel yourself in a real Armenian hearth. By the way, I plan to return with my family in the fall and stay in this paradise for a few days.

Here you will be shrouded in attention and care! The guest house is located in non-residential mountainous forest area! Near the river and wildlife! There is a large pool. There is a jacuzzi on fire. There is a veranda, karaoke, a barbecue area and much more. Great free and paid Internet. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, but you can get a full tasty and diverse diet for little money.They also have a campsite.I recommend. Find your calmness in this beautiful place.

Lovely guesthouse in Sanahin, just around the corner from Sanahin Monastery. Rooms are really clean and comfortable. Host is incredibly sweet and will make you feel right at home. Very peaceful with a lovely yard to enjoy. 10-15 minutes walking to bus #3 that can take you to and from Alaverdi. Highly recommended.

Amazing homestay. The place is perfect, 2 blocks from the monastery and with amazing views. Marina is very hospitable and accommodating. She cooks VERY well. Dinner and breakfast are worth it.
