We had an amazing time with Zaur and his family at their home stay. I was travelling with my wife and daughter and the place had a really nice family atmosphere. There was plenty of food and tea and cosy evenings by the fire.

An amazing place to stay! I highly recommend this experience to everyone! Izzat and his family are some of the kindest, most welcoming people I’ve ever met during my travels — especially little “Niva car racer “ Altay, who stole my heart ❤️ ! Izzat speaks fluent English, and his father speaks Russian, and he’s an incredibly warm and hospitable man — such a great conversationalist! We could talk with him for hours! So communication is never a problem. Izzat also shares fascinating historical insights about the village and organizes unforgettable tours. We went on two: one horseback riding adventure and another to the waterfalls in an old Soviet GAZ 66 car — it was the best day of our trip to Azerbaijan! The food at Izzat’s house is absolutely delicious — big thanks to the wonderful women in the kitchen! And the butter…I swear I could eat just that for the rest of my life. Still dreaming about it! The whole time we were there, it didn’t feel like a regular vacation — it felt like visiting relatives you haven’t seen in years. That deep sense of home, warmth, and genuine care — it’s something truly rare. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, warmth, and hospitality. I will definitely be back — no question about it! 💛

Friendly host, give us information about the road condition to Khinaliq which is very useful. The host just built a new building, toilet and shower with hot water available. Strategic location with beautiful view from the room.
