Our host Jeni was amazing - very welcoming and helpful. We stayed for 10 nights and she couldn't have been kinder, showing us where the transport was, giving us information on the area, even actually dropping us to the train on our last morning. She emphasied how welcome we were to use facilities in the main kitchen, the balcony with a lovely view and seating, the washing machine and dryer - nothing was a problem. The property was very quiet and clean and comfortable; other guests (some are students staying longer) were quiet and friendly. It took about 40 minutes to train to downtown Vancouver - really simple train system. We generally walked to the train station but sometimes when just to hot (28+ degrees c each day) we got the bus from near the lodge.

It is clean. In general the owner also gives instructions so that the house maintain cleanliness. The stay is comfortable. Shower is good. Facilities are well equipped. Was able to wash and dry my clothes quickly. Owner is friendly and was willing to accommodate to my needs when I request for late check out.

It was a great place, it was clean and very comfortable. The beds were great, each bedroom had its own thermostat so could adjust to needs. We had plenty of space and kitchen supplies. Host was great with response time for additional questions about commuting to Vancouver and such. Very helpful. Overal stay was great and I would recommend.
