We loved everything about this place!!!! The owner was extremely nice and friendly and made sure we have a great experience! Its in the middle of the jungle and you can spot many animals there. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is super clean and he has the cutest cat ever! The included breakfast was amazing and probably the best one we had since we are travelling. Highly recommend staying there even longer theres so much to do in this area.

We loved the closeness to town and the bakery, as well as the discount at the bakery. It was a very cozy spot and the bedrooms were great and very comfortable.

The host is very kind and he tries to provide solutions. The location of the house is very good and the place feels safe. The Internet connection was great. The place was very clean and they even had a small space for BBQ.

Just wow! We loved this place. Amy is so friendly and helpful. You can see that the house and especially the rooms are made with love. The kitchen is really clean and there’s a lot of space in the fridge. The bathrooms are clean as well and you get towels for the beach and for the shower. The internet was really good and fast. As soon as it gets dark, your can here the jungle waking up. That is magical. Because it’s pretty small you get in touch with the other guests. We spent every night sitting outside talking and having fun. We highly recommend this place :)

Puerto Viejo, what a special place on earth! Myself and my friend loved staying at Hotel Exotic Lodge. Great location and access to the beach trails which is literally accross the road. There’s a special hairy resident in the garden tree’s, if you are lucky, you can spot him hanging around. It was the closest we got to a sloth. We also woke up one morning to howler monkeys, we couldn’t of asked for a more immersive jungle experience, wow :) We ended up extending our stay, thats how much we loved it. Its simple and charming, hosted by a lovely family who recommended us some great places to visit that will forever hold a place in our hearts! Nice and clean stay in the middle of the jungle. You’ll be sharing the house with host Alexandra – incredibly welcoming – cuddle-cat Michael, and possibly another guest. The kitchen is fully equipped with a wide range of utensils, and the bedrooms have fans. One of the highlights is the bathroom, which is surrounded by glass, offering views of the lush greenery (with complete privacy, of course). The house is about a 15–20 minute bike ride from Puerto Viejo – walking isn’t really an option, but a tuk-tuk (around 4000 CRC) is! Drinking water is available. Board games (including Rummikub) are available too.

Situated just 12 km from Jaguar Rescue Center, Orgánico Punta Riel features accommodation in Cahuita with access to an open-air bath, a garden, as well as a 24-hour front desk.

The atmosphere of this place is great, we spent amazing time here. Fabi (the owner) makes you feel as you were his friend. We had such a good time (especially karaoke, fire and morning walk). It is so much more than a holiday stay, it was a real experience.

The whole experience was amazing! The host was really nice, he made coffee for us every morning. It was nice and peaceful. The location is close to the beaches in town if u rent a bike or car. Overall great experience

The accommodation is in a very quiet and pleasant area, but still close to everything. It’s easy to reach, and the ocean is just a short walk away. The room was very clean and well-equipped with everything I needed. The host was extremely kind and helpful throughout my stay. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved Cahuita Inn, it was probably the cleanest and the most comfortable place we had in Costa Rica. The owners were really kind and accommodating, from bringing us food for the kids when we arrived really late to borrowing the thermometer when one of the kids got sick. The rooms were big, spacious and clean. We would definitely return on our next trips.
