Germaine was very accommodating, friendly and welcoming. She was a great host and made me feel right at home. The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful, thank you! Germaine was even kind enough to help me with my journey onwards after leaving Lourdes. I'm very glad I found this home and met Germaine!

I was able to join the processions and visit the grotto everyday as the place is close to the Basilica. I stayed in a room at the 3rd floor and not a problem because there is an elevator. I was given coffee, tea and some cookies to enjoy. Both bedroom and bathroom were clean. There was hot and cold shower. The bed was just ok. The hosts were very approachable. Overall, it was a great stay! =)

What a find👌. A traditional French apartment in a historical old building. Lots of old features making it really special instead of a modern hotel. Loved it👌 Virginie is an excellent host. Absolutely everything. Spacious, comfortable rooms, Lots of beautiful details. Excellent dinner and breakfast, super charming and helpful hosts. Also great for travelling with a dog. Overall great stay close to Tourmalet. Looking forward to going back.

Communication before arriving was very accurate. When I eventually arrived, José, the owner of the property, opened the door and I was let into the entrance hall. The house reflects very much the atmosphere of long gone times, where style and taste were q rather timeless matter, including old wooden floors, a delicate staircase and high-reaching windows. José most kindly introduced me to the house and to my room. What a room! The walls were painted in pleasant colours, the floor consisted of solid old oak’s floorboards, and there was a neatly prepared bed which later was proved as most comfortable. Accompanied by the noble lights, this room looked like a nobleman’s refuge! The bathroom attached reflected the same exquisite taste. José was most eager to explain everything to me and help me getting around in Tarbes. It was an extraordinary stay at José‘s place!
