We truly enjoyed our stay! The room was beautiful, with a wonderful view from the window and a comfortable, spacious bed — I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was well thought out: there were shampoos, earplugs, coffee, and tea. We loved the shared kitchen, stocked with cereals, milk, spreads, and toast bread, so you can help yourself and prepare breakfast or enjoy a cup of coffee. There were also board games and cozy background music, which made the atmosphere even nicer. The hosts were exceptionally friendly — they let us check in early, kept our luggage on the last day, took great care of us, chatted with us, and were ready to help with anything we needed. Highly recommended!

Everything was first rate! Renata is a very friendly host, and the room was very comfortable and attractive. Very comfortable and quite huge bed, large smart tv, plenty of storage, and remote controlled power blinds! Bathroom was good, too, and there was plenty of parking a few yards from the house. If you don't have a car I noticed the bus to and from the city center goes right by the house. I'd love to come back and stay with Renata again next time in Edinburgh!

I stayed for 3 nights at Silvia’s place, Tartan Accommodation, and had a truly wonderful experience. Silvia was incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout my stay—always making sure I had everything I needed. The place itself was clean, cozy, and beautifully kept, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The location was also perfect for exploring Edinburgh. There’s a Sainsbury’s Local just nearby, along with plenty of great eating spots and charming cafés within walking distance. The bus stop and the tram to the airport are also very close, which made getting around and travelling to and from the city incredibly convenient. I highly recommend Tartan Accommodation to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay. Thank you, Silvia!
