My stay at Sunny Lodge was perfect! Mike, the proprietor, was gracious about my late check-in and just as friendly and welcoming as the other reviews have mentioned. He assigned me a room that was spacious and spotlessly clean. The hotel was quiet and well-located within short walking distance of grocery stores and shops. Folkestone is a charming town, and if you get a chance to stay there, be sure to reserve a room at Sunny Lodge!

Hugely enjoyable breakfast..coffee facilities in room great selection. Loved the decor and the hosts could not have been more welcoming and bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed.

What a wonderful place! Clean, lovely room, welcoming staff and delicious food. Right next to the harbor and the beaches. I would love to check in again anytime in the future.

Hythe is a beautiful village near the sea, which is at walking distance. Nic is a very pleasant and helpful host. The room has a separate entrance, its own terrace, is well equipped and spotlessly clean. The facilities are excellent. Allen Ridge is perfectly situated if you just arrived or have to depart via the Tunnel.

Tastefully decorated rooms, the postoffice memorabilia displayed in the staircase and in the rooms adding to its charme. Jamie, the landlord, provided en passant interesting details about the history of the Old Post Office and nearby buildings. Jamie also ensured a discount in some of the local restaurants and coffees. Communication with Jamie before arrival was seamless.

Very clean, tea station, TV, super comfy beds, good storage,good lighting, peaceful, local shop n takeaway 2 min walk. Also Maria gave me an extra half hr window when leaving, appreciated, and called me as I'd left a bag behind! Great service
