The river Svaneti was the great place to start our hike from Mestia to Ushguli. We definitely recommend it. It is cosy and clean. The owner is very nice, he took us by car to the shop, because the place is in the calmer place little bit further from the centre, but OK to walk. The breakfast were amazing too. Thank you for everything

Every part of this stay was incredible! Dato, the owner, was very friendly, welcoming and helpful! This lodge is incredible if you love hiking and want to explore the mountains surrounding it, and I wouldn’t miss out on the enchanting path that leads down to the river. It’s also an ideal distance from the center of Mestia. I really loved the food here both breakfast and dinner, where you’re served local/Georgian dishes. I can happily say that Ajapsandali is now my favourite, because of how deliciously it was prepared here. More than anything, if you’re looking for a city escape, you’ll be surrounded by the blissful sounds and scents of nature which are perfect for moments of tranquility. The surroundings are calm with breathtaking Mountain views. Also, if you take a stroll in the evening, you may be lucky to see fireflies which feels really special. I highly recommend this lodge for a solo traveler as well as families/ groups.

Stayed here before and after the Mestia-Ushguli hike; left some of my luggage here while I hiked. Really nice, comfortable rooms. Above all, a really helpful host who was also very accommodating with my breakfast timing request. Delicious breakfast, great for a long day of hiking.

the owner is really kind and helped us get around. the guesthouse is new, comfortable and really clean. The garden with river and mountain views is really pleasant to rest. Breakfast is homemade and all products are fresh and very good, especially honey and cake. really recommended

Unique place, highly recommend! Both location and people, very homey real farmer life with all the comforts and quality standards you need. The home cooked food both breakfast and diner exceeded expectations. They were so kind to take into account dietary restrictions, we used google translate ;) Breathtaking views from the balcony you feel like youre in the clouds, right across mountain peeks with some snow in summer. Perfect for outdoorsy trips and hiking, really remote stay surrounded by overwhelming nature <3
