The room was beautifully appointed and clean with great views of the medieval buildings and the sea below. Nice modern take on a traditional design. The hosts were lovely and very welcoming.

In one of the historical homes of Monemvasia, with all historical features still present and carefully restored. The room we had was essentially a suite - we had one area for the bed and a separate sitting area with armchairs and a TV (and a whole Christmas tree for ourselves!). We arrived during extremely unfavourable weather (torrential rain and wind) and were welcomed most warmly by the owners.

Boasting a patio with mountain views, a garden and barbecue facilities, Studios Maniati can be found in Elafonisos, close to Kontogoni Beach and 1.6 km from Kalogeras Beach.

We loved our stay at Studios Maniati- it’s in a great location above the town with great views over to the mainland and for the Peloponnese sunsets. The apartment was spotless, the bed really comfortable - which is a massive win for me. The resort is about 600 meters from the port at a beautiful location overlooking the sea. The centre is a couple of minutes away on foot, really easily accessible. The manager of the hotel told us that we booked the smallest room of the resort, but even that was really cozy and comfortable, with a tv, mini fridge, amenities and a huge balcony. The owner and the manager were very pleasant and polite and gave us tips for the island. Overall it was a great stay and we will definitely be going back.

Our host, Katerina, was superb and incredibly helpful - happy to give recommendations for the beaches and places to eat, even getting out some of her snorkelling gear, deck chairs and beach mats that we were welcome to use. We had the quadruple room and even though it looked good in the photos it was much nicer than we anticipated. Plus, with 2 single beds, a double bed and a table and chairs the room didn't feel too cramped. The added bonus - Katerina had put the aircon on before we arrived making it a wonderfully cool space after a hot car journey. The kitchen space and bathroom are compact but this was not a problem for us. There was easy parking on the road outside and only a 5 minute walk down to the harbour.

Everything, but on the first place our host, dear lady her hospitality and kindness. If you want to expire the real Greece her accommodation and island Elafonisos is the right place for you
