The family are so nice and friendly, anything we wanted and any information we need they were ready with it. We stayed up chatting to them most nights we were there. The location is excellent, the rooms are clean, everything about this place was perfect.

Our 3 days stay was perfect ! The family here is the nicest we´ve ever met. They will provide detailed informations about the area and they also organise tours around the rejani mountain. The food at the restaurant was also delicious and the rooms had everything you need and were very clean. They speak english very well, and even speak a bit of french :) Anyway, the price-quality ratio is outstanding, the family is really caring and you should definitely check them out !

The sunset views are breathtaking, and the room was clean and comfortable. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, and the food was delicious. They also organize treks to Mt. Rinjani, we didn’t have enough time this trip, but we’ll definitely be back to do it. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic 3 nights at this homestay. Tina and her family were very hospitable and made us feel very welcome from day 1. We very much felt part of their family life. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. It gets a little colder up in the mountains during rainy season so the hot shower was very convenient. The breakfasts were also excellent. As we didn't opt to climb up Rinjani, we all hiked up pergasingan hill instead (approx 3 hours in total) which offered incredible views of Mt Rinjani and the rice terraces below. They also arranged our onward transportation to Senggigi. If you're staying in Senaru, I definitely recommend you stay at Rumah Kawan Homestay.

    You will arrive as a guest and you will leave as a family member. The hospitality is incredible. I felt very welcome and comfortable. You are invited to join them to have some local food or drink together, if you like. But if you want to do your own thing, that's good too. A great place to stay! Hot showers. A true homestay with a lovely, welcoming family and staff. Very quiet and natural surroundings, it's in the middle of rice fields. Organizing trips, hikes, transport, everything can be arranged. Highly recommended!
