The heart of this accommodation are the people who owns it and work there. Especially Putu has been an absolute gem and organized for me a scooter and driver and would have organized other things as well. But also the ladies are so nice, even tho they don’t understand that much English. But it all works with gestures or even translation apps. Breakfast has been good, the pool in front of the room plus the view into the palm trees is unbeaten. Everything was clean. It’s a good location for doing daytrips along the coastline in either direction and in the countryside.

I enjoyed everything about this property, food was amazing, hosts were so helpful and actual bamboo room very impressive! Because I had arrived on Nyepi, Putu and his family made sure I was comfortable and also treated me to be immersed in the authentic local culture. I saw the Ogoh-ogoh parade in Sideman and was fed during the quiet day. It really felt like a once in a lifetime experience, very lucky.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ganesh Lodge! The place is a true gem, offering a tranquil, green oasis that feels like a retreat. The food was hands down the best in the area. One of the highlights was having access to the neighboring hotel’s pool and sunbeds, which are located right on the beach—a perfect spot to relax or see sunset. The only minor downside was the unstable Wi-Fi, but it didn’t detract much from the overall experience. We highly recommend Ganesh Lodge for anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming getaway!

The Homestay is very clean, the bed is big and comfortable. İt is situated only 8 minutes walking distance from the port. The owner and host, Kadek, was taking very well care of us. My friend was sick when we arrived, and his uncle drove her to the doctor. They took care of us like we were family. He also gave us lots of good advice for our further trip and drove us to the port. İ highly recommend Green Merta 😊
