Very nice place to stay to avoid the heat of Yogyakarta and get closer to Borobudur, nice village, lovely place full of vegetation, staff doesn’t speak good English but we had a very good time with them and google translate 😄 they were were on hand to welcome us with kindness delicacy and discretion. Great experience !

Beautiful and unique homestay in nature. Andreas and Dian and their family were wonderful hosts and gave many helpful recommendations as to where to visit in the area. The house itself was stunning, having been designed and built by Andreas who is a talented artist. It is an easy motorbike ride away from Borobudur! We were also shown around the local village and saw the rice plantations which I highly recommend. The bike we rented at the homestay was one of the best we've used while travelling. A truly authentic vibe with lovely people. Thank you guys!

The staff were exceptional. I arrived feeling a bit unwell and they took good care of bringing tea to my room and checking in on me. Love the room - very stylish and well curated. Very rare you would get to wake up next to a rice field, especially liked hearing the crickets at night.Breakfast and dinner was very delicious. you can walk easily to Borobudur temple in 15-20 mins. They opened right before the pandemic so they are still quite a new venue, definitely worth checking out! Thank you🙏🏽

We had such a happy stay at Imalee Hotel! From the very beginning, we felt so warmly welcomed by the friendly and kind staff. The cottage houses are absolutely stunning – beautifully designed and of very high quality. Breakfast was a real highlight with fresh fruit, eggs, and delicious juice every morning. We were even offered an upgrade, which was such a lovely surprise and made our stay extra special. Everything was perfect, and we can’t recommend this place enough – we will definitely be coming back!
