This is such a special place, and like others have said, the pictures really don't do it justice. It's absolutely stunning - the pool and gardens, as well as the architecture. The owner and staff are all so friendly and ready to help if needed. There is so much love and care that's gone into creating this place. Luckily, we were the only guests at the time, so we had the pool to ourselves! The address that is shown on Booking is incorrect - the Google Maps address that shows the location as north of the main road is correct. The immediate surrounding area is peaceful and quiet. There are rice fields at the back that we walked through, which were nice. The other direction (a 5-minute walk away from the property) is a busy road - which seems to be the case in much of Bali. For us, it was a special place to stay for a couple of nights before heading towards the airport. The place is also open for photo shoots, which I was a bit worried about when I read it in the contract I was given to sign on arrival. But there was just a group on the last morning, which didn't really interrupt our stay. I think the staff will just need to ensure that the shoots don't affect the guests' experience of chilling by the pool, as a photo shoot has a very different energy!

It was a great idea to stay at this place. Very beautiful territory and the house itself. We were greeted with a delicious welcome drink. They answered all my questions about Ubud and helped with the purchase of tickets for the events. The staff is very friendly and kind. If you want a comfortable stay, then you are definitely here. It was clean and smelled good. Really good location. They provided towels,shampoo and body wash. Easy to access. They can arrange tours for you. Aircon was amazing. Blackout curtains that allow you to sleep in. Hangers for clothes. There’s a cute patio with chairs and the photos are quite accurate :)

The pictures does not do this place justice, nor the price. This being our 10th place to stay on our travel around Bali/Lombok, it was the most comfortable, with the cleanest room, excellent breakfast and idyllic surrounding. The nearby beach is gorgeous, with black sand and locals enjoying the surf sized waves. And the Marine park is walking distance, just across the road. It way surpassed our expectations from a low priced guest house, beating our best experiences from more pricy resorts. Bonus: Warung Legong is a nearby restaurant with excellent food in really nice atmosphere, which also offers free transportation and deliveries to the guest house.

    Awesome place! Deffinitely stay there if you have a chance. It's a family place owned by artist Made Kaek, and his signature is visible all around the place. His wife runs the homestay and cooks delicious breakfast (for a very small fee). The room is beautiful and really clean. We spent some time with two of them in the afternoon while we were having coffee - talking about his art, travels, and finally, he showed us his gallery. We unfortunately stayed only one night, but it was a very interesting experience as a whole :). Thank you :)!
