As we arrives by car, we could park in a private parking lot. They offered coffee and tea in the room. It was very convenient to have dinner, one or two Guinness at the pub and breakfast the next day. A great stay.

The hosts were super friendly and very helpful. Told us where to visit and eat around the area. The bedroom was so clean and fresh, and the bed was super comfortable, as were the pillows. The room is very big and spacious.The tv in the bedroom had firestick, which meant we had every channel you could think off which was great for relaxing on the comfy recliner sofa in the room. Big bathroom with bath loads of hot water and washing products supplied there also. The view were stunning, and their little dog dingo was just super cute. Very fast and speedy Internet. To our suprise the communal kitchen had everything you needed, and they had left out items such as crossiants and cereal bars to have with you coffee in the morning, which was complimentary. Can't wait to return to the stables.

I loved it. One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Room was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The bathroom was great and well maintained (it is usually the weakest link of all the different places, but here it was spotless). The host was great, willing to help and assist with whatever the guests might require.

Margaret was very accommodating, and we were able to check in early, which was a great relief. She was also very helpful for letting us know where things were and how to get to our function in the evening. Super friendly.

Bit nervous beforehand after seeing some of these reviews but I honestly don't know what they're talking about - the place was great. My room was lovely and also spotless, it was perfectly warm, and the location couldn't have been better. Really loved the big bay windows overlooking the castle and river. Also the owner/host was very responsive when I had some questions beforehand. Would definitely book again if I am back in Kilkenny!
