This is the perfect stay if you are looking for time in nature and the backwaters. Room is comfortable, clean, and with AC - so you can relax perfectly in the room. The balcony is great too and offers direct view on the littler river. The host Lizza is kind and fun, always there to help, Plan trips, cook food for you. The whole house is so beautiful, so you will enjoy having breakfast/dinner on the long table in the Main hall. This place seems suitable for anyone: alone-traveller, backpackers, couples, familys with kids. They have a garden to hang out too! And best part: its only 10sec walk to the starting point of your boat trip (Lizza will arrange)! Then you can discover lakes, big rivers, small rivers and village life in the backwaters. Ask Lizza for a TukTuk (Autoriksha) drive through the little streets through this area, so you will see more small rivers with plants, more village life, rice plantages and local life :) This is the place to be! It was right on the backwater. Great views, so relaxing. Getting there does require you to walk the last 200 metres or call them and they’ll pick you up boat for that bit, if you come by vehicle. It’s on the government boat (ferry) route to so you can catch a boat to and from town for 14 rupees, which is such a lovely relaxing journey. The owner and particularly the hosts were so lovely and accommodating.

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Valentine's Home. Its quaint, rustic, independent with majestic view of paddy fields from the backyard. They prepared homemade food for us and it was delicious and healthy. This place is away from the hustle bustle of Alleppey city.
