The home is beautifully located at the mouth of the Kadalundi river. Praveen & Meera have a lovely covered deck over the river where we spent most of our time. It’s peaceful & enjoyable to watch pond herons, egrets & ibis searching for food. Meera’s cooking as certified by other reviewers is excellent. Everyday for breakfast & dinner we had different items. Dosa, sambar, eggs, French toasts, puttu & kadla curry, Idiappam & kurma. Dinner likewise was a variety of excellent Keralite food - nathuli fry and fish curry, Appam & chicken stew, pepper chicken with chapatis and pathiri (rice rotis). Each meal was accompanied by fruit. I was so happy to get jackfruit in this season. The food was so well made with so much love. Thank you Meera. Praveen was always responsive n very helpful, organising auto/taxi for us. Making calls on our behalf because of language issues! Pulling out a huge spider from the room. It was monsoon season. We had gone armed with mosquito spray, odomos cream. Praveen had ayurvedic agarbati’s & electric Good Night mosquito repellent so the room was totally mosquito free.

The host and his family. Absolutely wonderful folks. His sis is a born cook. Never tasted such delicious food in anywhere else. About the room, it is nice and clean. Wish they had bigger windows and a cupboard blocks one of the windows. Slight rearrangement should take care of this problem. Clean and fresh sheets and towels made us feel good.

The stay really exceeded my expectations. I had come here with a few friends of mine to attend a wedding. The property is right in the heart of the city. Hence everything was easily available. Mr.Sujeesh and his staff showed commendable hospitality towards me and my guests. The room and bathroom are neat and clean with brand new looking air conditioning. Plus, the hosts are really attentive, make delicious local breakfast, give very good advice about restaurants and places to visit and helped us to get a sim card.

We had travelled there for a function at NIT. It was about 20 minutes away from the college so more convenient than staying in the city. Plus we were travelling with family so needed a place where we could stay and enjoy together. Redstone met the requirement well.
