I had an amazing stay at this homestay! The facilities were exceptional, making it a perfect choice for a comfortable and hassle-free experience. The room was well-maintained, equipped with an AC that kept the space cool and pleasant. The attached bathroom was clean and well-stocked with essentials. One of the best features was the attached kitchen, which came fully equipped with kitchenware and even some basic ingredients—perfect for those who love to cook. The location was another plus, as it was well-connected to major areas, making commuting easy and convenient. Great communication leading up to our stay which was really appreciated and helped us. The owner met us and was so friendly. Unfortunately the homestay was experiencing technical difficulties but the hosts had already arranged an alternative and gave us a lift there. The gentleman from that homestay was just as lovely and so welcoming as well. It was a joy to be in their company. They helped us organise a taxi to Pobitora Nature Reserve and gave advice which really helped our plans. The accomodation was clean, and had both Eastern and Western toilet types. Little touches like tea bags and a kettle were great. I'm someone who teaches hospitality and worked in the industry for 30 years. Take it from me, these people couldn't have been more hospitable if they had tried. Thank you very much.

Gruham Sojourn is a wonderful property in the heart of Guwahati, very close to the Brahmaputra and right next door to both the Ugratara Temple and the famous vegan Lush cafe. There are many cafes and restaurants close by along with the State Museum, State Handicrafts centre (Pragjyotika), State Courts, Pukhuris (lakes) with street food galore, all within short walking distance! The Brahmaputra Cultural Centre is a must see and has a Starbucks with a fabulous view of the river - do not miss. The space at the homestay is neat, clean with a/c and water provided. Food is available on request and the cook is exceptional (although a but slow if there are many guests). He is a good person and can help with queries too. You can get a room with or without a balcony. I traveled as a single woman and it was very safe. WiFi is good and quick there is a room geyser which sometimes may not work so it is best to ask for assistance right away, I also asked for change of sheets as I was not sure if the sheets were changed and new, and they did that immediately. They help with getting luggage downstairs if required.

Great experience! The room was clean and spacious yet cozy. Extended my stay, no unnecessary formalities, seamless experience. All the facilities mentioned were provided, AC, free WiFi, geyser, free RO drinking water in the common area, kitchen, fridge, tv. Overall a great deal for this price range with a helpful host. Thank you.

A warm welcome by the owner.Morover, the room and bathroom were so cleaned, room freshner fragance spread all over making a beautifull stay at the homestay and we had breakfast, lunch, dinner and the food items were so delicious felt like eating in our home.Besides, the owner's behaviour and nature is soo good and adorable which adds more beauty to the homestay. There's a blissfull evening view outside the homestay making it an scenic view of the day.

The location is 10 on 10 . Also I really like the fact that they charged me the same amount shown in the app. Many guest houses and lodge charged u more and some will refuse to give u rooms at this low price but city Homestay didn't charge me extra for anything. Moreover they also helped in reaching places and ordering food. There are no gate issue and all . You will get all the keys for gates .
