Staying with Christi was one of the highlights of my travels. A delightful, warm and smiling hostess whose aim is her guest's happiness. Fluent English so we had some wonderful, interesting conversations - I learned a lot about Angami culture and history of the region. Don't miss her cooking which is FABULOUS ... full of flavour, easy on the spice. The accomodation is good value - a large room with shared bathroom with plenty of hot water. About a 25 minute walk to Bamboo Mkt. Maple Homestay is priced for the budget traveller (shared bathroom) but her hospitality and cooking should be a draw for all budgets.

    A True sample of excellent hospitality. Neat, clean, all amenities, the hosts were always attending, it is the perfect getaway. Cultural visits, quaint villages, beautiful views and away from the hustle of the city. Strongly recommend this homestay run by Christi and her siblings.

    Everything was great at this home stay.It’s clean and has a lot of comfort items to make you feel at home. We were in town for a very stressful event and going back to this room was very peaceful. The plus point was they were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early and even allowed us to check out late like at 4:30pm.The sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there. It was even better than expected. The price was amazing.

    I would say this homestay is very unique and genuine. I higly recommend this place to you! Cristi, Xavi and Asa(The host family) are reallllly nice people. From the moment I checked in, I already felt home. They treated me like I am one of their family members. I do appreciate them. For a couple of day, I made unforgettable memories with them. I'll miss them a lot. P.S. The homestay itself is very cozy and tidy. 100% Guarantee!
