The WiFi was as good as the best anywhere in India - absolutely brilliant and so useful for me. The food was very good and the location is superb barely 400 metres from the Ticket Office to the Bird Sanctuary. The staff help to contact guides and transport to get to hides and other areas for Birding and generally Basil will help with anything you need. Absolutely brilliant place to stay for Birders.

Staying at Kmansion was an absolute pleasure! The place was spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We loved the location – nestled into the jungle with stunning views. It's a really nice hotel in the middle of nature. We stayed in a wooden cabin, which was simple but cosy. The view from our balcony was amazing. The pool offered a lovely refreshment in the morning, and the breakfast was an interesting experience every day as they served local dishes. We had a fantastic 3 nights stay at Thoppil. Very beautiful surroundings with waterfall and swimming possibilities, clean and cozy room and absolutely delicious homemade Kerala food. It is easy to go to Munnar by local bus, car or tuk tuk. The owners are so friendly and gave us a lot of tips on where to go and what to do. They helped us book a half day hike with a guide in the tea plantations, which was very beautiful and memorable. We highly recommend to stay at Thoppil homestay!
